At first, I didn't know if the story would have a point. It wasn't the Christmas loaded story i expected. Had a hard time bonding with Meg. Her stories were OK. The love story looked predictable from the get go.

I didn't see the mishaps she wrote about as a curse per se.

Of course she had to live happily ever after. It wouldn't be a christmas read if it didn't have the expected happy ending. A 3.5 star read not bad but not fantastic great.

A book to read and not feel bad that you aren't reading as much as you are used too because of the Holidays. Good short read for our busy Christmas/New Year's days. ;)
